A Doll?

Hello, everybunny!

Today me and bf went to The Ounce for tea, and then to see the Frozen movie, and gosh it was beautiful! Simply wonderful! *-*

rant// But on our way there, a random passer by asked my bf, did he "steal a doll or something". I know it's supposed to be funny (hah, hah), and these people think they are oh so clever for coming up with jokes like these - but sadly it never occurs to them, that maybe someone, nay, like 25 others have come up with the same joke before... it does get tiring, and I really don't like my bf being bothered because of the clothes I happen to be wearing. I do wish people would stop to think a little bit before opening their mouths. //end of rant

Other than that, we had a really lovely time, once again. :3

{Dress - Juliette & Justine, shoes & headbow - second hand, blouse - Dear Celine}

I would also like to introduce you to a new hobby of mine. Or rather, a new approach on a very old hobby. This is my "tea book". It's just an old notebook, but now I'm writing in it details (the name of the tea, the brand/tea shop, ingredients, country of origin, colour, smell, taste, my opinion...) of every tea I taste. I got bored of not remembering if I had tasted some particular sort of tea before, and only after buying it realizing that yes, I had tried it before and nope, I still don't like it.

P.S. If you haven't yet seen Frozen, I really recommend that you do! On advance I thought that I'd dislike the snowman character Olaf, but I liked even him, he really was funny. :D My favourite scene was definitely Elsa's Let It Go song and her creating the ice castle... actually I liked all the scenes that took place in that castle. *-*

P.P.S. I have a new laptop with super sensitive touch pad, and the cursor keeps jumping this way and that. I'm trying to be very careful and triple check my spelling while trying to het used to this, but if there are some really weird typos, it's propably because of this darn thing.

La Dance de la Dollhouse

Good evening, everyone!

I've got two outfits to show you this time: one from yesterday and one from today. Sorry about the crappy pictures - it is so dark here all the time, it's like a curse. The picture from today was taken 11 o'clock in the morning, but you'd never guess that.

So, yesterday I wore Angelic Pretty's Dollhouse for tea at The Ounce and then The Hobbit - Desolation of Smaug movie afterwards. I think that Smaug was cute and beautiful in a wild way, whereas Beorn the skin changer was so scary in his bear form. I am weird that way - at least my boyfriend says that Smaug was no cute, nor beautiful. Well anyway, back to the outfit; I aimed for a sweet-classic look, even though this dress itself is quite sweet.

I wore these ribbon earrings that I got from my little sister as a Christmas present.

And here's my outfit from today: La Dance de la Dame JSK by Juliette et Justine. This was for running some errands with Kata...

... and also for some white tea and chocolates afterwards. We got crazy amounts of chocolate as Christmas presents, so it's just good that Kata helped to eat some of it. :D

Parasol Season

...it has begun! The weather today was sunny, but windy. A perfect weather to wear lolita and carry a parasol. Unfortunately not so great weather for one's hair, but you can't have it all, it seems.

Anyway, me and my boyfriend went to have some tea at The Ounce. It was nice to go there after a long time. I've been so busy with my school I've had hardly time for anything else this Spring. After the tea we went to see "The Great Gatsby". It was so beautiful and sad.

I tried to wear my Minna Parikka's Angora shoes, but  it was so painful I had to change to lower heels. I can manage everything from 2 cm to 10 cm, but 12 cm heels, that's too much for me. Well, these shoes are so pretty that somehow I will have to learn to endure the pain they cause. :'D

We also bought some tea and caramel flavoured sugar. The green tea is called "Chinese Lover's Dream", the black and green tea blend is "Jasmin Bagdad" and the white one is "Jade Spiral", it's Chinese handmade top quality tea.

The Last Unicorn of This Spring

Good afternoon, my lords and ladies!

Yesterday me and Hanna-darling went to see Audrey Hebpurn's movie Sabrina to a local culture centre. I simply adore Audrey, and Sabrina is one of my favorite films from her, so it was really nice to actually see it on a big screen!

I decided to wear my unicorn dress while I still can. Soon it will be too warm to wear it, as it is made of velvet and cotton twill.

Also have a picture of my heart shaped sunglasses. They are funny, aren't they? They don't take themselves too seriously - a skill we people should also learn. :}

P.S. Today we are having our annual Talventappajaiset (Winter Killing) party, yey! Maybe I shall wear something nice today also.

Outfit rundown
Roses - H&M
Earrings - gift from a friend
Blouse - Bodyline
Dress - Handmade by Mimi
Stockings - Stockmann
Shoes - Ellos

Daily Donuts

Hello lords and ladies! Here's my outfit from today, just something simple and cute for a dinner and a movie with my boyfriend. Right now I'm really liking this kind of a side bun, it's easy to do and looks nice with a beret. :3

Dress is Innocent World,
purse Baby, the Stars Shine Bright,
shoes Wonders,
blouse Seppälä,
and pearls are a second hand find.

We saw "Life of Pi"  and though it's different to what I usually like to watch, it was still very touching and visually gorgeus. My two favorite scenes were this one...

... and this one. Just look at the colours. My, oh my. *-*

The Hobbit

Today I went to see The Hobbit movie with some of my dearest friends. I would have liked to wear something... more, but I couldn't sleep on the previous night (I only slept a couple of hours) and wasn't feeling very glamorous in the morning. So, yeah, that pretty much explains the dark circles under my eyes. Not sleeping well doesn't suit me at all, I feel like I've been hit by a truck. x_x

With a face looking like this, and not having energy to do anything to my hair either, I went for very casual look, but I did try to get some old time's feeling to it and I think I succeeded pretty well.

Here's the outfit with my coat on:

... and here it is without. I wore my newest Juliette & Justine dress with just very few petticoats for sake of comfort (after all I had to fit in to the chair at the movie theater). And this outfit really was very comfy!

Here's a picture of the under bust bow. It is so pretty, I love the embroidery. *-*

And the movie itself? It was amazing, better than I expected and I did expect it to be very, very good, and it was even better and...!!! Now I can't wait for the next part... *-*

Okay, that's it! I'm going to have a lovely sleep tonight. Good night, everyone! x)

Oh, almost forgot; the outfit details...

Dress - Juliette & Justine
Earrings - a gift from Tiia
Blouse - Dear Celine
Coat - hand made by Mimi
Scarf - a second hand find
Bag - Accessorize
Shoes - Wonders

Leffailua

Heipähei ja hauskaa vappua! :D

Kävin tänään leffassa ystävieni kanssa, ettekä taatusti ikinä arvaa mikä leffa se oli. :'D

Leffateatterissa oli karmivan huono valaistus, ja koska Helsingissä tuuli tänään erityisen riipivästi tukkani näyttää lähinnä petolinnun peräpäältä, MUTTA... koska kuitenkin tuli otettua kuva päivänasusta, niin minähän laitan sen tänne, piste. Koittakaa kärsiä.

Paita Babyn, laukku (taas) AP, mekko IW ja loput tavallisista kaupoista.

Taidanpa turista vielä jotain itse leffasta. Olin kuullut Alice in Wonderland -leffasta etukäteen aika vähättelevää kommenttia, enkä siksi odottanut siltä suuriakaan.
