Shoes ♥

I just got these brand new shoes from my best friend's Mother (!). They were a little bit too big for her, she said, but for me they are just fine. Very comfortable also, though the heel's nine centimeters tall. I've found out by now that 6-9 cm of heel is best for my feet, and wear shoes with that kind of heels every day.

I like how these shoes got a little bit vintage feeling to them, though they are new. The leather looks a little bit worn out, and as you might have noticed, I've been very much into shades of brown lately. These will go very well with most of my Innocent World dresses. Brown shoes are just so lovely. ♥

Little Pretty Things

I bought myself some hair accessories today; rose corsages in lavender and a feather hairclip. I didn't have any hair accessories in lavender before, so this is a nice addition to my collection of roses.

And I got this shoe from Italy! It's made of strawberry milk chocolate and I wonder, if it tastes as delicious as it looks...

The Super Secret Society

Have you ever troubles when trying to think of some good titles? I seem to have today, so have a bad title instead. :D

Anyway, Kata visited me today to have some tea.

 

It was a sunny day, so we took outfit pictures outside. Headbow, parasol and dress are Baby, the Stars Shine Bright, purse and blouse are Angelic Pretty, shoes are Minna Parikka's.

 

I also wore Cookie Monster earrings and star shaped hairclip by Essin maailma. I think this was the first time I've ever put anything extra on my hairbow - how utterly OTT and radical of me!

One Sunny Day

Today I had a day off. Yesterday I was supposed to be at work, but for the past three days I've been having quite terrible flu. I'm not feeling all well still, but I would have gone nuts if I would have stayed yet another day indoors. :'D So off to meet some friends! And it was such a beautiful, warm day too. We went to the Ounce, and then to a little theatre called Orion featuring some studio Ghibli films. We watched "The Heart's Whisper" but sadly it was just boring.

My outfit for the day: Innocent World's "Band of Forest Animals" dress with Baby's parasol, vintage shoes and the self modified summer hat. I do like this hat a lot. ♥

These lilacs (if I got the name of the flowers wrong, please do correct me) were in full bloom. Pretty!

At home I asked my boyfriend to take a pic of me with my bunny Odessa, because Odessa is obviously an Innocent World bunny (just look at the color of her fur!). Can you tell that Odessa thinks she is way too royal to be held? She looks so crumpy - and chubby, but actually Odessa is of perfect weight for a bunny this size and breed. She does like petting and even hugging, but only if I let her lie on the sofa or floor or where ever she wants to. But don't anyone dare to hold her, oh noes, how rude of me. :'D

The Summer Hat

Finished customizing my new summer hat. You have no idea how long I've dreamed of a perfect straw hat for summer, and this comes pretty close to that dream!

The hat itself cost me way too much, so I compensated the costs by using only left over materials to decorate it. That's why this hat is now a mess of different shades of white, but I don't care. I love all shades of white, even mixed together. ♥

The Traditional Tea and Macarons Date

Today I went to the Ounce teashop with my boyfriend. Macarons and tea at the Ounce seems to be coming a sort of traditional date for us. We both love macarons and tea, and Ounce simply is the best place to have tea in Helsinki. Pistacchio macarons are so delicious, by the way (the green one pictured)!

My outfit for the day was Innocent Worl's lavender dress with Innocent World headbow, Baby, the Stars Shine Bright purse, Angelic Pretty Bolero and Minna Parikka shoes.

A proof that my anckle socks actually were pink, not white. Lately I've liked this kind of short, lacey socks very much. From this pic you can also see a little bit of my rose patterned, nude colored lace stockings.

We bought some more tea to bring home: pear flavored green tea from Chaya teashop, and St Petersburg Heaven and Irish Whiskey from the Ounce. I also purchased that straw hat for myself, I'm going to customize it to fit my taste better, just wait and see!

My New Closets ♥

I just finished organizing my new closets, and wanted to show them to you too. In my previous home I had 1/3 of the closet room I now have - I'm so happy! All my dresses fit in without pushing with two hands to get the doors closed. And I can get them out without dragging with both hands while pushing other dresses out of the way. Maybe my clothes will be a little less wrinkled from now on (oh, just day dreaming propably).

Anyway, let's start with my Angelic Pretty closet (my closets are kinda in alphapetical order now; AP, Baby, IW and offbrand). On the top most shelf I'm keeping my random handbags (and detachable waist ties from dresses, those are in the Baby bag). I also keep a sort of "scrab book" in my closet doors; I put there posters, pictures, drawings, poems and post cards from my friends and pen pals that I find inspiring or pretty. This is a very old habit of mine, hard to break it. :')

And on the closet floor I keep my accessories sorted out in little boxes; headbows, rose corsages, lace gloves and some jewellery. I've also stuffed as much shoes here as I can possible fit in my closets.

 

Let's move on to my second loli closet, dedicated for Baby, Innocent World and a couple of offbrand dresses (one made by our talented seamstress Mimi, for example).  On the top most shelf I keep my three Baby dresses with shirring on shoulder straps (I can't keep them on hanger because that would ruin the shirring eventually). I've also put my petticoats up there.

And on the bottom I have some more accessories; lace thighs, knee highs, fans, Baby purse (my favorite ♥) and mini top hats. There "lives" also the rather sad little bunny bag that I made for myself years ago, when I was only dreaming of owning one of Baby's bunnybags. I can't bring myself to throw this little fellow away, I'm kinda attached to it, and it's rather cute in that sad, handmade way.

My loli blouses are on my third closet with my regular clothes, but I'm not going to bother you with pictures of that. My regular clothes are not as prettily organized as my loli clothes now are - wonder why that is, hmm... :D
