Bunny in Boots

My fiancé gave me two equally wonderful options for my birthday present. After a long and agonizing consideration I ended up choosing...

...Minna Parikka's Bunny Vic ankle boots in cream and black. 

My birthday isn't till November, but Minna Parikka store was running out of small sizes in this colour option, so I got my present a little bit early. :3

My New "Boring" Shoes

Hello, everyone!

Here are my new, "boring" basic shoes. I have been looking for something like this for ages! Made entirely of real leather, black, reasonable heel, comfortable - those were my requirements for the "boring" shoes. I can't believe how hard it is to find shoes, that are made entirely of authentic leather! Even if the outside was leather, the inside was always synthetic, and I just don't see the point - why waste good leather to the outside, when the inside makes your feet sweat like a sinner in church? The older I get, the less I can stand uncomfortable, low-quality shoes.

Well, here they are now, and after all they aren't so boring! They are still quite basic, but I also find them very pretty and the bow detail adds a little bit feminine cuteness and playfulness to the otherwice simple design. I'm sure I can wear these with ordinary clothes, lolita, even in more festive outfits - and also I'm sure I will! Right now I'm quite happy with my new shoes.

I'm even happier about the fact that me, boyfriend and the new shoes are going to spend this week end in Praque! Oh, I'm so ecxited to be travelling again! I hope all of you have a very lovely week end - I'm pretty sure I will. ♥

Tassels and Tiny Paws

Good afternoon, lords and ladies!

I found these beauties from the flea market yesterday. They cost me only 5 euros and are originally bought from a small shoe shop in Tokyo, or at least so the seller said. Wether that is true or not, I don't know and don't really care, either. :P

Also - this lovely little lady is the newest resident to "Caramea's Dog Daycare". Her name is Royalette's Piece of Diamond, or less formally Hilma, and she's such a little lapdog! I'm taking care of her for the first time ever while my little sister is at a cruise, and so far everything has gone very well. ♥

Shoes ♥

I just got these brand new shoes from my best friend's Mother (!). They were a little bit too big for her, she said, but for me they are just fine. Very comfortable also, though the heel's nine centimeters tall. I've found out by now that 6-9 cm of heel is best for my feet, and wear shoes with that kind of heels every day.

I like how these shoes got a little bit vintage feeling to them, though they are new. The leather looks a little bit worn out, and as you might have noticed, I've been very much into shades of brown lately. These will go very well with most of my Innocent World dresses. Brown shoes are just so lovely. ♥

My Wardrobe, part 3: Shoes, shoes, shoes

Hello! My wardrobe series continues with shoes. Shoes have long been my favorite accessories, and though I've effectively gotten rid of many shoes I didn't use anymore, I still got plenty of them. ♥

Let's start with white ones. Mostly offbrand, couple of Minna Parikkas and one self customized pair.

Then the black shoes. Stylesnob, and lots of offbrand.

Then my colorful shoes. Minna Parikka, vintage and offbrand.

Metal coloured. How lonely they look, just two of them.

And finally, my two favorite boots. All my other boots and anckle boots are alredy stored away for Summer, but I can't part from these two. Minna Parikka and Baby, the Stars Shine Bright.

Now there's only one part left: the dresses! That will be lot of hard work, it's so difficult to fit many lolita dresses in a same picture.

Minna Parikan Muse -kengät ♥

Ai, mitkä kaunokaiset kenkävalikoimaani kipsuttelivat! Minna Parikan Muse -kenkulit kirkkaan punaisena. Oi, mikä rusettien paljous! Ja matalan kannan ansiosta nämä ovat täydelliset kävelyyn. Luultavasti ne pääsevät loppukesästä mukaani muille maille. ♥

Translation: Oh, what beauties found their way into my shoe closet! Minna Parikka's Muse pumps in bright red. Just look at that adorable amount of bows! And because of low heel they are very comfortable also. I think I'll take these with me, when I travel abroad at the end of this summer. ♥

Minä ostin... *rummunpärinää*... Minna Parikan Raquel -kengät valkoisena! Unelmakenkäni! En voi uskoa, että vihdoin sain ne, ja juuri siinä värissä kuin halusinkin. *-*

Iik, olen innosta ja onnesta soikeana. Nyt en varsinkaan malta odottaa kevättä ja kesää, että pääsen kipsuttelemaan näillä kaunokaisilla! :D ♥

Jälleen kerran teekutsut

Pyrähdin lauantaina pikaisesti Lahdessa, ennen kuin jouduin (hyvin valitettavasti) jatkamaan matkaani toisiin pirskeisiin. Nyt sitten muutama kuva!

Ensin koko porukka:

Näytämme jotenkin kaikki niin seesteisiltä (ja lievästi pöllämystyneiltä). Vitsailinkin Sannille, että "feng shui -kerho kokoontuu." :D Tämä on myös ainoa kuva, jossa näkyy, että päässäni itseasissa on myös nuttura, eikä pelkkiä ruusuja...

Sitten asukuva:

Mekko Innocent World, kaulakoru vintagea, muut sieltä sun täältä. Ehkä muistattekin, että tämä lähes sama asu löytyi koordinaatiokaaoksesta? Vaihdoin tosin sukat kevyempiin sukkahousuihin ja lisäsin päähän tavaraa, mutta muuten sama asu. Persikkakengät... ♥

Halusin saada asuuni ripauksen rokokoon henkeä kampauksen ja rusettikenkien (♥) avulla. Mitäpä mieltä olette, onnistuinko?

Translation: I went to a tea party held in Lahti on Saturday. My dress is Innocent World, the locket is vintage and everything else is offbrand. I wanted to get a little bit rococo to my outfit with the bow shoes (♥) and the hairdo. Rococo enough? :D

Maailma on rusetti

Mitä tehdä, kun löytää täydellisen söpöt persikanpinkit avokkaat, mutta ne mätsäävät täydellisesti vain yhteen lolimekkoosi? No, minä ratkaisin ongelman ostamalla kengät kuitenkin ja keksimällä monta muutakin mekkoa, jonka kanssa ne sopivat, vaikka eivät olekaan samaa sävyä. Missmatchausta siis tiedossa! :D

Translation: What to do, when you find perfect peach pink shoes that only match your one lolita dress? Well, I bought them anyway - and I'll think more creative ways to coordinate these to my lolita outfits, even though they don't mach perfectly. Beware, there will be missmatching! :D

Kengistään loli tunnetaan

Kuumaliimaprinsessa iskee jälleen! Ennestään nämä kengät olivat sievät, mutta aika tylsät. Halusin niihin hieman extraa, jotta niitä ehkä tulisi käytettyäkin.

Pari metriä taftinauhaa, kimaltavaa kynsilakkaa, muutama ruusu ja blingi sekä pieni mutta inhottava palovamma myöhemmin kengät ovat valmiit:

Olen lopputulokseen tyytyväinen, sillä kengistä tuli aikas söpöt mielestäni! Olen onnistunut kehittämään kuumaliimaamisesta suunnilleen taiteenlajin, enkös? :'D

Nyt jännätään enää sitä, miten kuumaliimalla ja jokusella ompeleella kasatut koristeet kestävät käyttöä...

Pientä kivaa ♥

Kävin tässä päivänä eräänä vähän shoppailemassa. Ostokseni eivät ole varsinaisesti lolitaa, mutta koska vakaa aikomukseni on kuin onkin yhdistellä näitä lolita-asuihini, niin postaanpa tännekin.

Ensin esittelyssä Friis & Companyn jumalaiset korkkarit. Näissä on huikeat 11 cm korot, ja kun nämä kiskaisee jalkaan niin näyttää suunnilleen siltä että on yhtä pitkää säärtä. :D En voinut vastustaa näitä kenkiä, ne ovat jotenkin niin minua - ja uskokaa tai älkää, kenkien mallin nimi on oikeasti Maritha. Kaverini ehti jo tokaista, että nämä pitäisi nimetä minun mukaani... melkein ovat niin tehneetkin! <3

Ja sitten valkeat pitsikynsikkäät. Olen jo pitemmän aikaa etsiskellyt kirppareilta vintagevastaavia, mutta ei vielä ei ole onnannut. Nyt sitten bongasin nämä muistaakseni Kapp Ahlista (?). Kynsikkäiden hyvä puoli on ne, että ne tuovat asuun pitsihanskojen eleganssia, mutta sallivat silti käyttää sormia näppärästi. Käytönnöllistä kauneutta, siis. :3
