Pearls and Bikinis

Hello, everybunny!

I'm still in a productive mood, and so I made more bracelets. There's something comforting about bracelets. They are quite easy to make and nice to wear.

First, the "Feeling Blue" -bracelet. (Yes, it's nice to name things. All our plants and all of my paintings have names too.) I had just enough these vintage pearls left for one bracelet. They are ceramic, each one of them has a unique pattern and they are not perfectly round either, so I think these pearls might be hand made. Porcelain pearls are not exactly my style, but I just adore the deep blue, vibrant colour, so I'm going to learn to wear this one.

I also made these two, just for fun. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with these, though. I like those candy like pearls but they no longer fit my style, so I can't wear these myself. Maybe a giveaway here, if my blog reaches 400 readers goal? ;)

I also bought a new bikini for our trip to Barcelona! It was about time, last time I bought bikinis was way back in... 2006? Anyway I find this rather cute, the colour combo is awesome.

P.S. Just realised that the blue bracelet matches my new bikini rather nicely, doesn't it...?

  1. Your blue bracelet is made of glass beads, not ceramic,, I see :)

    1. The bigger ones might be glass, but not the smaller ones (= most) of them. I've used lots of glass beads and these don't look or feel like glass.

  2. I love that bikini! At first I thought it was a bow, then when I realized it was a bikini I awesomed about it for a while. Where do such bikinis grow?

    1. Thanks! I bought it from Anttila, and even had a - 30 % discount with my K-Plussa -card! So this bikini cost me about 18 euros in total, not bad. :D
